This home fragrance is inspired by the Roman herb garden at the Getty Villa Museum. In antiquity, these gardens provided vegetables and seasonings for cooking. Plants were also grown for their color, fragrance, and medicinal properties. With mystical notes of Myrrh, Juniper, Sesame, and Incense combined with base notes of Clearwood (Patchouli), and Oak Moss, this diffuser brings the aroma and natural fragrance of the ancient worlds to your home. The unique and timeless formula was designed and crafted by Culti Milano, the esteemed creator of iconic Italian home fragrances.

The Getty Villa is a full-scale replica of the Villa dei Papiri, a Roman country house in Herculaneum destroyed by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in A.D. 79. Once visitors enter the site, they are transported back in time from the Roman Empire-inspired flagstone road, sumptuously colored hand-cut marble mosaic floors, outdoor gardens with ever-changing views of sky, plants, fountains, and statuary, to ingenious trompe l'oeil outdoor murals inspired by examples found in archaeological excavations.
